2014 has got off to an incredible start for the Gantrail team with a number of significant steps in place for forecast growth and an increased international presence. Malcolm Trigg, Managing Director has recently returned from a new year trip to the China facility where has signed a contract for new premises as part of a strategic expansion programme. Having established a fully owned China presence for 5 years, confidence is such that the decision to increase the commitment to the market was a straightforward one to make. This coupled with the recent expansion of the Dubai operation gives strong indications for the positive sales forecasts in these key operational areas.
Speaking of these latest initiatives Malcolm Trigg comments “We are going into 2014 with a real sense of confidence and a heightened operational focus on these strategic marketplaces. Our international reputation has consistently grown and we have seen a marked increase in the variety, size and scale of projects which are being put to us. Like any business, we know that continual improvement and investment are key to our success and the recent office expansions are simply a sign of the commitment that we show to these.”
In addition to the physical operations of the company, there is a restructure programme in place to move key team members into critical positions to shore up the international strategy. Alan Hood has recently taken up a permanent presence in Dubai overseeing our international site work, whilst Dieter Verheyen, will take over responsibility for South and Central America. Andrew Woodward has taken on sales responsibility for the Balkans and Paula Gao of the China team has recently been promoted to Senior Administrator. Malcolm adds “We know exactly where we want to get to and I feel that the re-organisation of key team members, coupled with physical presence in-country gives us the foundations we need to achieve our ambitious and challenging plans!
